Hi my name is fareh and I am from Owairaka District School.

 I am emailing about plastic bags and why they should be banned. Because lots of people that are eating fast food it has plastic so they just throw plastic anywhere they want.They throw it in the drain and it goes to the ocean and it can harm turtles and fishes. And they might think that ‘s there food and they will eat it and they will die.

And there finally banning plastic bags in 2019. And did you know how many ocean creatures died a year over 100,000. Of them died eating plastic bags and they got extinct after a few days or months. And that’s why I think you should ban plastic bags.
